Our Mission:

Cohn Alternative High School’s mission is to offer a quality second chance education for students to become productive and responsible students.

School History:

Cohn Alternative High School is located on the second floor of the Cohn Adult High School building serving students in grade nine, ten, eleven, and twelve. The Corrine Cohn school building constructed in the early 1900’s, was the first high school in Nashville named after a woman at that time. The Cohn Adult High School officially opened on March 3, 1987. 

Directions:

The school is located directly behind the Nashville Public LIbrary, Richland Park Branch, between 46th Street and 51st Street.  Please park in designated areas because the police ticket violators frequently.
